I have been racing at the elite level (Pro/1/2) for over a decade now, competing all over the U.S. and in Europe. I mostly race Masters races now, which I find to be equally as fast and difficult as the Pro races, but generally safer and a whole lot more fun. Having a 22 month old daughter and a 2 month old son while pursuing my PhD in Public Education Policy has put a serious dent in my days of leaving for weeks on end to race.

Luckily, the local racing scene in Boston is ripe with enough races so one can compete 7 days a weeks if it is so desired against some of the top Professional and Masters riders in the country, including many national and world champions. I have directed our team for the past 7 years, and I now look forward to racing under the Velocite banner in 2010 and beyond. Their amazing products will make the results find us a lot more easily and often.

2010: Win and help the team win as many races as possible up and down the Atlantic seaboard
Future: Return with the team to Ireland to compete once more in the FBD Insurance Ras and try to take a (flat) stage
